00:00:00.350 --> 00:00:07.275
Today, a story you already know: the three little pigs. But listen for one small detail you might have missed.

00:00:07.455 --> 00:00:14.805
The first pig builds a house of straw. The second chooses sticks. Both finish quickly, and go outside to play.

00:00:14.985 --> 00:00:20.135
The third pig takes a little longer. Brick by brick, she builds something stronger.

00:00:20.315 --> 00:00:25.490
Look at the board. Three materials, three houses, and one very hungry wolf.

00:00:25.670 --> 00:00:31.045
Now comes the test. The wolf huffs, and he puffs, and the house of straw blows down.

00:00:31.225 --> 00:00:35.150
The sticks hold on a little longer. But that house falls too.

00:00:35.330 --> 00:00:41.430
Only the house of bricks stands up to the wolf. The difference was there before he ever arrived.

00:00:41.610 --> 00:00:48.035
Notice what changed. Not the wolf. Not the weather. The time and care that went into building the house.

00:00:48.215 --> 00:00:52.840
So, is this just a story about working hard? There is a little more to it.

00:00:53.020 --> 00:00:59.270
The third pig opens the door for the others. A strong house becomes a safe place for all three.

00:00:59.450 --> 00:01:05.500
Preparation matters. So does looking after each other. That is the part I want you to remember.

00:01:05.680 --> 00:01:12.780
I am going to erase the board now. If you remember just one word, bricks, you can find your way back to this moment.
